Does your Failure define you?

Does your Failure define you?

“Failure doesn’t define you. What you do after you fail determines whether you are a leader or a waste of perfectly good air.”

After a long time I have failed, I know I was unprepared and expected this result. So jumping into a scenario where you know that you will be failed but try the taste of failure is sometimes important. This will keep you within your limit and all overconfidence will fly away.

So in this article, I would like to discuss whether failure can define you. If yes, how and to what extent?

There are two sides to failure, one who feels after failure that this seems very difficult and loses all his faith that success is not meant for them. The other side is when we focus on what we have learned which can be used in the next attempt and so on. The point I want to make is, one has a path to follow the success path even though that seems very difficult and has lots of failures. They will surely triumph over all their battles. The one will never try and out of the battlefield. Hence, someone who was not ready to fight, they were declared as a failure. In that way, failure is something that we decide where we are on the battlefield or running away. This is in your hand and in your control. Nothing can defeat you until you give up.

Experience with Failure

You must be thinking why I am talking about failure. I have had many people give up and I too get frustrated after 2-3 attempts. But we should look at the history, you will find stories of great success and great triumph over adversity.

Whenever something doesn’t go our way, our first thought tends to be: “This isn’t right for me. I shouldn’t be doing this.” And then, we give up. It’s too easy to feel dejected and frustrated when something doesn’t come out perfectly. But it’s okay if things don’t go as you want. Look at it from this perspective: failing is an experiment in itself. It will take you more closure to success. Each time you fail, you get learning on what you did and didn’t do wrong. For instance, you may think you have strong gut instincts, but you later end up misjudging someone’s motives and making the wrong decision. It doesn’t mean that misjudging or taking a wrong decision is right, but one can learn and improve from their mistake. Leaving in between will only be lost. So keep trying and try to learn from your mistakes.

A winning attitude has the power to make your dreams come true. By believing in your dreams and taking action to achieve them, you are doing the best you can to set yourself up for success and reach the place you want to be. It is vital to understand success is a continuous process and failure is part of the process. Those able to understand this simple rule will definitely win one day and those who are not able to understand always try to change their dream and continuously failed everywhere.

The intent of this article is to motivate and push your limit. Keep trying and don’t give up until you reach the victory line. Let success define you and failure will always be failed with your willpower.

“Let your failure refine you, not define”
